I can't support abortion. I know it's not enjoyable for the woman to give birth to the child, but why not just give birth to it? Why can't it live, maybe with the knowledge and courage to stop the injustices that resulted in his conception. Abortion seems like an easy way out, even though both parties suffer immensely.

Greetings,

Congratulations on facing your fears and the underlying media distortions related to one of the most beautiful religions in the world, vodou.

Originally from Africa, this religion like all others, has practitioners who want a happy family, love, health, wealth, and peace in their lives and go to the religion to help them to achieve these objectives.

For more information about the faith of vodou, I would recommend you read 'Vodou Visions' by Sallie Ann Glassman and 'Jambalya' by Luisah Teish. Both works are by contemporary authors who are involved in the practice of vodou.

Regarding blood as representing something evil and dark, I would refer you to Christian communion where Jesus is actually eaten, regularly. Although symbolic, so were the baby dolls on the vodou altar....

May Your Beloved Ancestors Lead You To Illumination of Your Soul and the Knowledge Therein...

The good reverend doesn't seem to be an Irving fan, but he proves Mr. Irving's point quite eloquently. I wouldn't bet Rev. Spitz was a big fan of The Bird Cage, and Nathan Lane, either.

People who murder unborn children are infinately more culpable then Eric Rudolph. You give a pass to the babykilling abortionists who rip little babies to pieces in their mother's womb and even to the women who pay a few hundren dollars to have thier child murdered by these abortion hit men. Both these, the babykilling abortionists and the women who pay them should be on death row for murder of an innocent child.

If you would like to know what happens to the losers, well I know, unfortunately. A few are treated - not be a vet - by home remedies from their owners. A large number are either beaten, shot or poisoned - depending on cost. Nothing will change until people like this are made to suffer the same fate they put their animals through. It would only take one or two cases for these people to understand their eventual cost might not be worth it. While laws continue to act leniently, nothing will change.
